About Us

The Georgina Weston Dance Academy, Chiswick branch, has been running since September 2011 under the care of the Principal Georgina Weston.

The dance school caters for students of all ages, from ‘Tiny Footsteps and Dinky Dancers’ (our Baby ballet classes from 18 months and pre-school classes) to our Senior school classes which include Adult classes and the Vocational Level Ballet classes; from Intermediate Foundation – Advanced.

We also offer the Royal Academy of Dance Pre-Primary- Grade 8 Ballet syllabus and Junior and Senior Jazz, Tap and Lyrical classes.

Georgina studied at the Royal Academy of Dance completing the BA(HONS) Ballet Education and Licentiate teaching course. “I believe in delivering the highest standard of dance teaching to meet and excel the requirements of today’s young dancers.”

We have a realistic approach to dance and the performance world, catering for all types of student; whether that be a child with an interest in dance on a fun and social level, to the student that’s looking to excel and form a future career in this field.
We have a growing alumni of graduates from the GWDA. In recent years students have continued to develop their passion for dance, some performing with the English Youth Ballet as well as other establishments and companies:

‘White Lodge’ at The Royal Ballet School (Daniel Peters 2012)
Royal Academy of Dance (Mia Carruthers 2015)
Sound of Music Tour 2015/16 (Grace Maltman)

For further information on any of our classes, or to pop along and watch a class before enrolling, please check out our timetable page for the classes we offer and then contact Georgina on the contact us page, please also take the time to read our terms and conditions.

All of our teachers are fully insured, as well as being DBS checked and first aid trained. Our teachers take up regular CPD courses to keep up to date with developments and progressions within the dance world and overall, as a professional looking after the needs of children. At the Georgina Weston Dance Academy we put the safety and protection of our students as our paramount focus and we follow the Royal Academy of Dance Safeguarding Policy.
